Since 1959, the Giannina Gaslini Institute has been formally recognized as a Scientific Institute for Research, Hospitalization and Healthcare (IRCCS) and is today an internationally renowned center of excellence in pediatric healthcare.

Based in Genoa, the Institute specializes in safeguarding the health of children and adolescents and is distinguished by an integrated model that combines highly specialized clinical care, scientific research, and innovation.
