The INCiPiT Team is pleased to announce that the new Scientific Committee (SC) will be established in September.

Applications to become a member of the SC are open until July 15, 2024.

We remind you that, according to the INCIPIT statute, “the CS is appointed by the General Assembly of the Consortium members and is made up of a variable number of members chosen from among particularly qualified people of recognized prestige in the matters of interest to the Consortium. The CS collaborates with the President and the Board of Directors of the Consortium in defining the programs and activities of the Consortium, formulates opinions and proposals for every issue in which he is expressly interested.”

The members of the Board of Directors have identified the following areas of Expertise as preferential for being part of the CS:       

1. Methodology of clinical studies      

2. Ethical/regulatory aspects in the clinical context      

3. Real world data      

4. Statistics      

5. Epidemiology      

6. PPI (patient & public involvement)

When is the deadline to apply?

The application email must be sent no later than July 15, 2024.

When will the new governing bodies be elected?    

The applications received will be shared with all consortium members starting from 16 July.

The elections will be held during the General Assembly called on 4/09 and up to 5 members will be elected, including the President of the CS, elected by the members of the Committee themselves with a simple majority.

Only the Legal Representatives of the consortium organizations and/or the officially delegated representatives will be able to vote in the General Assembly.
